Dr. Damodar Kakumanu

Dr. Damodar Kakumanu is a trauma and acute care surgeon based in Hyderabad, currently serving as a consultant at Medicover Hospitals. His clinical practice focuses on trauma surgery, critical care, and emergency surgical management. He completed his MCh in Trauma Surgery and Critical Care at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and holds an MS in General Surgery from PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.

Dr. Kakumanu previously worked as a senior resident at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he was involved in trauma care and surgical management protocols. His training includes Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and experience in damage control surgery, following his foundational medical education (MBBS) and postgraduate surgical training.
